Alwin Overwater is a Glassblower, and since 1997 is
producing work in a nostalgic workshop in the Friesian village of Exmorra. He was born in 1967 in the Northern Dutch village
of "De Kwakel "which the Glass Works was named after. A "Quakeltje " or " Kwakeltje " is a
very small bridge of which is typical in this village, in combination with his
surname "Overwater " made a pleasant Trade name.
